The Southern African Journal of Child and Adolescent Mental Health is published bi-annually by the South African Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions. It has sections for reviews, original research, clinical perspectives, book reviews and news and notices. It aims to publish work in the field of child and adolescent mental health from countries in Southern Africa and beyond.

Members of the Association receive the journal free of charge. Non members wishing to receive the journal are required to make a donation of R80 per annum, and libraries R160 per annum.
