The official organ of the Musicological Society of Southern Africa, SAMUS welcomes articles on a broad variety of topics. While we are particularly interested in all aspects of music- making and theorizing about music within southern Africa, we consider submissions on non-African subjects and on music education and music therapy.

The journal is published once a year.
