While the journal is hosted by the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE) http://www.icipe.org/  , under the aegis of the African Association of Insect Scientists (AAIS) http://www.icipe.org/aais/ , Insect Science and Its Application pursues its own independent editorial policy.

Specially reduced rates for individuals with subscribing institutions.
