AIDSMAPFocus on DCs
AIDSMAP is a community based information site with extensive information on treatment. It includes a directory of HIV/AIDS organizations wordwide with contact details and descriptions. The site is maintained in the U.K. by NAM (formerly the National AIDS Manual) and is co-sponsored by the British HIV Association and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance. http://www.aidsmap.com/


Centers for Disease Control, U.S: Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention
The CDC provides a wealth of full-text documents on basic science, research, treatment and general information (news headlines, fact sheets, brochures, statistics). Critical Path AIDS Project

EngenderHealth: Online Courses Spanish Focus on DCs
The site contains links to online, interactive courses in infection prevention, sexuality and sexual health, sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS. The courses are targeted to health workers in low-resource settings and some are in Spanish. http://www.engenderhealth.org/res/onc/


Global AIDS Learning and Evaluation Network (GALEN)Focus on DCs
GALEN is an online training course for physicians in the developing world. The course has 15 modules, with a focus on HIV care and treatment in low-resource settings. Registration is required but is free. Physicians who complete the course are awarded a certificate. HIV and AIDS Online Minicourse Focus on DCs
This minicourse is designed to provide a basic introduction to HIV/AIDS. It is designed for reproductive health and other health care providers, staff, planners, and managers in resource-poor settings. The course contains seven modules and also a glossary of terms. HIV & AIDS Treatment in Practice Focus on DCs
This site is the Internet version of NAM's ‘HIV & AIDS Treatment in Practice’, an email newsletter for doctors, nurses and other health care workers working in limited-resource settings. HIV and AIDS Tutorial new
This tutorial reviews the basics of the immune system response to the HIV infection. It also discusses the commonly used anti-retroviral drugs and their mode of action. The site includes a series of ‘problem sets’ to help the user test recently acquired knowledge. It also contains annotated links to other sites with HIV/AIDS information. This is the website of a commercial organization, HIVandHepatitis.com, based in the U.S. The site aims to provide accurate and timely information on HIV/AIDS, chronic hepatitis B and Hepatitis C and co-infection with HIV/AIDS. This site provides links to full-text documents for the U.S. Federal and other agency guidelines. The information is primarily intended for the U.S. Topics include HIV and adolescence, paediatric and perinatal medicine, exposure, counselling, opportunistic diseases and tuberculosis. HIV InSite Knowledge Base
