The Asian Studies WWW Monitor
Edited by T. Buddhist Studies WWW Virtual Library

Centre for Library and Information Resources-Asian Institute of Technology (CLAIR/AIT)

Council of East Asian Libraries (CEAL)

Digital South Asia Library
A project of the Center for Research Libraries, this gateway site is a collaborative effort of leading US universities, the South Asia Microform Project, the Committee on South Asian Libraries and Documentation, the Association for Asian Studies, the Library of Congress, the Asia Society, the British Library, the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, MOZHI in India, the Sundarayya Vignana Kendram in India, Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya in Nepal, and other institutions in South Asia. It provides a wide array of resources on South Asia, including dictionaries and other reference works, databases of photographs, maps, and manuscripts; statistical information from the colonial period to the present, electronic catalogues and finding aids, periodical indexes, electronic books and journals, and more. http://dsal.uchicago.edu/ 


India WWW Virtual Library

International Institute of Asian Studies (IIAS)-Gateway to Asian Studies One of the best gateway sites for Asian Studies, with links to libraries, documentation centres, databases, as well as a directory of booksellers worldwide in the field of Asian studies. http://iias.leidenuniv.nl/


Libraries of Asia Pacific (LAP)
Aims to provide a single access point for information about the functions, services, and collections of libraries in Asia and the Pacific region. LAPs main section is a Directory of Libraries of Asia Pacific, and each library page has full address details, telephone and fax numbers, Email address, Web sites (where available) together with information on legislation, administration, size of collections, and services provided. http://www.nla.gov.au/lap/ 


South Asian Social Researchers' Forum (SASRF)
