The execution of the activities of the above action funding has been provided by INTAS. The funding provided includes the involvement of Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in electronic document delivery and in enhancing skills in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). Additionally the funds enable Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Ukraine to take benefit of 'Using the Internet' training. The INTAS Library Action also provides funding to facilitate access to online full text journal databases.

The INTAS Library Action is complemented by an action in ICT training in Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Uzbekistan funded by EC INCO, the International Council for Science (ICSU) and INASP.
